Class Act truly was a Class Act. The band was the area’s number one choice for festivals, clubs and parties in the 1990’s. The band featured lead vocalist Denise Perkins. Denise experienced much success with other groups like “Denise and the Three of Clubs” prior to forming the band Class Act.  Denise’s bands won area contests  and opened for such greats as Jerry Reed. Original members of the band
were Denise Perkins - lead vocals, John Coleman - lead guitar/vocals,  Roddy Dull - base guitar/vocals, Bill Becker - keyboards and Mark Dressler Drums. In later years Bob        and Fred Laundray joined the group .

Denise’s strong female voice was the bands biggest draw and when mixed with the artful instrumentation of the band and vocal harmony added by John, Roddy and Fred the band was a pleasure to listen to. Roddy and Denise often talk about working together for special occasions and possibly some recording when it can fit into their busy family lives.

Bill Becker lives in Boscobel and currently is part of the Wayne Brothers Band. Roddy lives in Woodman and plays occasionally with a band in church and a club band called Swift Kick and Denise lives with her family in Arena, Wisconsin where she enjoys being  Mommy.

See the band at one of it’s last performances at the Boscobel 4th of July Celebration on Utube.
