Edge Limited Productions was a talent corporation based out of La Crosse, Wisconsin. The agency booked about a half dozen groups from the area in the early to mid 70s. The agency was managed mostly by two members of the group Morning Star, John Drake and Roddy Dull. The name of the company came from a band named EDGE that formed a corporation to limit the liability associated with purchasing a lot of equipment and placing band members at risk by driving late a night.

After the corporation disbanded Roddy and John went on to promote larger venue festivals such as three “Hidden Valley Music Festivals” in the heart of the Kickapoo Valley and the “Southwest Wisconsin Country Band Contest” in Boscobel Wisconsin. The contest drew record crowds and helped developed musician friendships that lasted several decades.

The two men talk of future large scale promotions in jest after retirement but mostly just enjoy reminiscing over their music adventures from the past.
