The Memphis Road Show was a good old fashioned party band. The band was made up of two husband
and wife teams and a close freind. Original members were Lori Drake - base guitar/vocals, John Drake - drums/vocals, Laura Dull (Bodenbender) - guitar/vocals,  Roddy Dull - guitar/vocals, and Don Anderson - Piano/guitar/banjo. Several other members were substituted temporarily while both Lori and Laura took leaves of absence to have children. Substitute members of the groups included Marty Cina, Tim Bohnenkamp, and Dale Hoke. The group had a regular following known as the”Dirt Bang Band Groopies”. The Group won second place in the “Southwest Wisconsin County Band Contest” held in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and loved doing regular festivals with other groups like “The Bobby Duell Band”
and “Gary Chamberlain and the County Cats”.

Currently John and Lori spend a lot of time traveling and live in North Carolina. They also just recently became Grandpa and Grandma Drake. Laura lives in Boscobel with her husband Brad. Don Lives in Liberty Pole and plays occasionally  with area  groups. Roddy and his wife Lorinda Live in Woodman.

Roddy and John met playing in a band that eventually lead to be life long best friends.
